On the thirtieth of July, YUZHMASH was visited by a delegation from the FireFly company, USA, consisting of Russell Shea Ferring, Senior Vice President of Spacecraft, and engineer Roman Lukavsky.
The guests got acquainted with the shop of the main assembly of launch vehicles, where they inspected samples of rocket and space technology.
After getting acquainted with the production, the guests were presented with a film about the production capabilities of YUZHMASH and a presentation on current and future projects. During the talks, the company’s management raised the issue of possible cooperation in space.
In turn, Mr. Ferring introduced a presentation in which he spoke about the new developments of FireFly for the exploration and use of outer space for peaceful purposes. Mr. Ferring also suggested continuing to discuss areas of cooperation during the YUZHMASH delegation’s visit to the United States for the next launch of the Antares launch vehicle.
At the end of the meeting, the guests were given memorable souvenirs.
