With regard to the information that appeared inmass-media about a probable cancellation of the contract for manufacturing of Zenit launch vehicles for Sea Launch project, Yuzhmash informs the following.
The enterprise has the contract concluded in spring 2017 for manufacturing of twelve Zenit launch vehicles. The Customer is S7 Sea Launch Limited, the company registered in the USA. At present Yuzhmash has an order for manufacturing of the first three Zenit launch vehicles for which the partial financing was received from the Customer. Works are being performed in accordance with a schedule agreed by parties.
At present Yuzhmash has no official notification from the customer regarding a supposed cancellation of the contract. Yuzhmash, for its part, does not intend to be an initiator on this subject.
