May 29the former CEO YUZHMASH – Shchegol’ Viktor Andreevich celebrated its 65th anniversary.
The company’s management has congratulated Viktor Andreyevich on his anniversary and wished good health, longevity and prosperity.

Shchegol’ Viktor Andreevich – General Director YUZHMASH from 2006 till 2013. He graduated from the Dnepropetrovsk Engineering Construction Institute on specialty in mechanical engineering.
Viktor Andreevich has made an enormous contribution to the production of research and serial samples of rocket and space equipment, as well as several generations of satellites, such as the “Tselina “, “Ocean”, “AUOS” and microsatellite “MS-1”. He took part in the production and testing of the first Ukrainian satellite for sensing the earth’s surface “Sich-2”.
Under his leadership and with his direct participation has been designed and manufactured 16 units of of rocket and space equipment, and more than 2 550 units of products for industry purpose.
In 1995, for labor achievements Shchegolev VA was awarded the title “Honored Worker of Industry of Ukraine”.
In July 2004, Viktor Andreevich became the “Hero of Ukraine” with the award of the Order of the State.
In 2009 he was awarded the title of Candidate of Technical Sciences for a research developments.
He was awarded the State Award of Ukraine in the area of science and technology for a significant achievements in the development of rocket and space equipment according to the results of 2010
