Festival of Science, Technology and Modern Technologies Interpipe TechFest was held September 16-17, 2017 in Dnipro in the Entertainment Complex “Lavina”. The purpose of the festival is to increase the interest of young people in engineering, exact and natural sciences, and stimulate an informed choice of the technical profession.
At one location were collected:
· all the latest technologies – robots, drones, 3D printers;
· spectacular experiments;
· progressive educational centers for schoolchildren and the best engineering universities in the region;
· start-ups, business incubators and an exhibition of Ukrainian innovations;
· the winners of Ukrainian and international technical competitions;
· the developers of space technologies and discoveries.
YUZHMASH took part in this event for the first time. At the exhibition stand of the enterprise there were presented the models of products of the aerospace direction:
· liquid rocket engine of the fourth stage of RD-843 to the European launch vehicle “Vega”;
· landing gears for the aircraft AN-140;
· cylindrical metal bellow;
· spherical containers;
· the model of the first Ukrainian microsatellite MS-1.
During the festival, everyone could get a closer look at the technologies and the full range of products, which are manufactured by the only plant in Ukraine by the producing of rocket and space equipment.
