On July 30, Oleg Urusky, Vice Prime Minister – Minister of Strategic Industries of Ukraine visited YUZHMASH, he was accompanied by Vladimir Usov, Head of the State Space Agency of Ukraine and Oleg Voronko, People’s Deputy of Ukraine
The guests got acquainted with the production facilities of the enterprise. During a visit to the workshop of the main assembly, Sergii Voyt, General Director presented samples of rocket and space technology to the guests. During the visit, there was a meeting with the management of YUZHMASH about the current state of affairs at the enterprise. Also, there was a presentation on new prospecting projects.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine created the Ministry of Strategic Industries of Ukraine. On July 16, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine appointed Oleg Urusky as Vice Prime Minister – Minister for Strategic Industries. According to Oleg Urusky, the ministry will be responsible for “the formation and provision, implementation of state industrial policy in the development of strategic industries.”
